We accept private candidates for external examinations during the summer series. We offer
this service to help the local area as we understand how isolated we are from specialist
private candidate centres.
This does, however, come with some restrictions. The exams must be purely paper based,
and not include any practical, NEA, spoken endorsement or require the use of any
specialised equipment. We are also not able to accept any private candidates requiring
access arrangements. All candidates will be sat in the main exam hall in a separate row from
our students. We are happy to organise a visit before your first examination to ease any
worries you may have.

Summer 2026

Applications for Summer 2026 are now open. For an application form and fees list, please email exams@ilfracombeacademy.uk . All applications need to be submitted before our deadline of 23th January 2026. Please note, with limited numbers, we may need to close entries earlier.

Summer 2027

Information regarding the Summer 2027 examination series will be available in September/October 2026.
